I'm Way Behind

So, I've gotten busy again, suprise, and have left my blog go...i'll post random shots from this summer-i have more but i seem to have lost my 8gb memory card! I might cry.

Film Photography

So I'm taking a Class at OSU "Photography 1" and it's all B&W film photography. The last two weeks i learned how to develop negatives, develop contact sheets, and finally today develop prints. I am in love with film photography.

The process of creating one print, is like what i image having a baby is like minus the pain. It's just that you are hands on with your photo through everything-digital you miss that relationship with your photos. Also the look of my finished print today had a quality i believe you can't achieve with digital-just this organic feel to it. Also, so much is stays digital these days and is rarely printed-so its like instant print and boom it's in your hand. Once i get it scanned i can post my first print that made me fall in love with film.
